Teenage Girl Dies in Bronx Scooter Collision

15-year-old Daphne Juan was killed and another teen injured in a crash involving a Honda Pilot on University Avenue.

The crash occurred near West 192nd Street in Kingsbridge Heights on Tuesday.
The scooter driver, an 18-year-old male, was hospitalized and later arrested in connection to a separate case.
The 22-year-old Honda Pilot driver remained at the scene and was not injured.
Police are still investigating the cause of the collision.
Family members described Juan as a quiet and sweet girl who lived with her grandmother.
