Teen Volleyball Player Sue City of St. Louis After Losing Legs in Car Accident Caused by Released Robbery Suspect

Janae Edmondson, an 18-year-old girl from Tennessee, lost both legs after being struck by two speeding drivers with suspended licenses in St. Louis.
One driver, Daniel Riley, was out on bond for robbery charges despite violating the terms of his release over 50 times.
Edmondson is suing the city of St. Louis for negligence in failing to maintain a safe intersection and revoke Riley's bond.
A GoFundMe for Edmondson has raised over $800,000 to help her attend Middle Tennessee State University where she received a partial scholarship to help manage the volleyball program.
Riley remains jailed awaiting trial for his criminal charges.
