16-year-old Logan Lose, traveling alone on Frontier Airlines, mistakenly boarded a flight to Puerto Rico instead of his intended destination, Cleveland, Ohio.
Frontier Airlines has apologized for the error and stated that the flights to Puerto Rico and Ohio were departing from the same gate, with the Puerto Rico flight leaving first.
Logan's father, Ryan Lose, claims that Frontier Airlines staff did not scan his son's ticket, which would have alerted them to the mistake.
Following the mix-up, Logan was flown back to Tampa and then to Cleveland the following day.
This incident follows a similar one last week where a 6-year-old traveling alone on Spirit Airlines was sent to the wrong airport.
