Overview

• Officers were called at about 5:27 a.m. Sunday to reports of gunfire outside a bar on Atlantic Crescent near Wembley Stadium.
• The 18-year-old was treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service with a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance and taken to a major trauma centre in critical condition.
• Forensic teams established wide cordons, with searches and evidence collection on South Way and surrounding areas.
• Chief Superintendent Tony Josephs said police have increased patrols locally and urged anyone with information to contact 101 or Crimestoppers.
• Police are conducting an active search for the gunman, and South Way remained closed with TfL diverting bus route 440 during the investigation.
