Overview

• Officers responded to a 10:45 a.m. 911 call at 172-09 108th Ave. near 173rd Street in Jamaica, Queens, where a 19-year-old was found with a gunshot wound to the head.
• The victim was taken by EMS to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and was pronounced dead, police said.
• The deceased has not been publicly identified, and police believe he was a student at Martin Van Buren High School.
• No arrests have been made as the motive remains unclear and no suspect description has been released.
