Teen Missing in River Mersey Feared Drowned

Daniel Halliday, 14, disappeared while jumping waves with his brother; family devastated by tragic accident.

Daniel Halliday was last seen near Crosby Beach, Waterloo, on Sunday evening.
He was swept away by a strong current while playing in the river with his brother and friends.
Despite efforts by his brother and emergency services, Daniel has not been found.
The search, involving coastguard and lifeboats, was called off on Monday morning.
The family is being supported by Merseyside Police and has requested privacy.
