  • Police detailed incidents at the 9200, 7900, and 5800 blocks of South Western, including a KFC parking lot attack where a 19-year-old died and two men in their 20s and 40s were hospitalized in serious condition.
  • In a separate set of cases earlier in the week, three boys ages 15 to 17 were arrested and charged with felony armed robbery and attempted armed robbery on the North Side, with the 17-year-old also charged with obstructing identification.

  • Police said 25-year-old Javonni Clark is charged in the Maplewood robbery but not the Winona attempt, and in an unrelated Boystown case 33-year-old Antonio Robinson was detained within minutes of a 7‑Eleven holdup and a handgun was recovered.
