Teen Killed After Driver Plows Into Minneapolis Crowd

The driver, involved in a sidewalk brawl, intentionally drove into the crowd, injuring five others.

The incident occurred early Saturday morning in downtown Minneapolis, resulting in the death of 16-year-old De’Miaya Broome.
The driver, 22-year-old Latalia Anjolie Margalli, was arrested on suspicion of murder and had a suspended license.
Margalli drove in reverse and then the wrong way on Fifth Street before hitting the crowd.
The crash injured five other people, including a 29-year-old woman with life-threatening injuries.
Local residents and business owners expressed frustration over increasing lawlessness and inadequate police presence.
