Teen Gunman Kills 3 Elderly Neighbors in New Mexico Mass Shooting Before Being Fatally Shot by Police

An 18-year-old high school student opened fire in a residential neighborhood in Farmington, New Mexico, killing three elderly women and injuring six others before being killed by police.
The shooter used multiple firearms, including an AR-15-style rifle, firing over 140 rounds at random homes and vehicles during the rampage.
Two police officers were among the injured but have since been released from the hospital.
The suspect had purchased at least one firearm legally and obtained others from family members, though relatives had expressed concern over his mental health.
