Overview

• Officers responded just before 7 a.m. to the 5600 block of South Michigan Avenue in Washington Park.
• The 16-year-old was inside the residence when she suffered a gunshot wound to the chin.
• She was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center and remains in critical condition.
