Overview
- The victims were identified as Sophia Akimi Troetel, 21, Josiah Patrick Santos, 22, and Katya Rosaura Castillo Mendoza, 21, all University of Arizona students.

- Louis John Artal, 19, turned himself in hours after the crash and now faces three counts of second-degree murder and a count of leaving the scene of a deadly accident.
