Teen Critically Injured After Falling from Balcony While Fleeing Police in Ashton

Following reports of machete threats Greater Manchester Police have arrested three suspects with drugs plus a weapon seized during their inquiries.

  • Officers arriving on scene pursued three males, one of whom escaped via a lower balcony while two fell from an upper balcony.
  • A 19-year-old remains in critical condition and a 14-year-old sustained serious injuries in the fall; both are detained pending medical treatment.
