Overview

• Police were called to a flat on Bentinck Street at around 7:20 pm on May 31 after a group of males reportedly threatened others with machetes.
• Officers arriving on scene pursued three males, one of whom escaped via a lower balcony while two fell from an upper balcony.
• A 19-year-old remains in critical condition and a 14-year-old sustained serious injuries in the fall; both are detained pending medical treatment.
