Overview
- Jaiden Hassan-Agard, 18, of Southampton, has been charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of 25-year-old Tia Langdon.
- Prosecutors also filed counts of making threats to kill, false imprisonment, threatening with an offensive weapon in a private place, and kidnapping related to a second woman at the address.
- Hassan-Agard appeared at Southampton Magistrates' Court on September 3, did not enter a plea, and was remanded in custody.
- A further hearing is scheduled for September 29 at Southampton Crown Court as officers from Hampshire Police’s Major Crime Unit continue their inquiries.
- Langdon fell from a flat on Cuckmere Lane on August 28 and died in hospital the following day, as relatives and community members have left floral tributes at the scene.
