Teen Charged in Southport Stabbings Previously Starred in BBC Charity Ad

Axel Rudakubana, 17, faces multiple murder and attempted murder charges following a dance class attack

Rudakubana appeared in a 2018 Children in Need video dressed as Doctor Who.
The attack left three young girls dead and several others critically injured.
The BBC has removed the charity video from all platforms out of respect for the victims.
The suspect was remanded to youth detention and will appear in court again in October.
Far-right groups have used the incident to promote protests in Sunderland.
