Despite Setbacks at Junior World Finals, Knight Remains Determined to Break Gender Barriers in Bull Riding

Najiah Knight, a 17-year-old from Oregon, is on a quest to become the first woman to compete at the top level of the Professional Bull Riders tour.
Knight is the only woman to qualify in the 16-18 age division for this month’s Junior World Finals in Las Vegas.
Despite being thrown off the bull in a few seconds in both her attempts, Knight remains undeterred in her goal to be the first woman on PBR’s top-level tour, Unleash The Beast.
Knight, who is of Paiute descent, also aims to be a role model for women and Native Americans.
Knight and her family have been strategic in promoting her, cultivating her image on social media and securing key sponsorships.
