Tedox Announces Multiple Store Closures Across Germany

Tedox says the moves are a targeted network adjustment driven by lease expirations and weak local sales.

Overview

  • The company has confirmed specific upcoming closures this autumn, with the Ingolstadt store due to end sales on 31 October 2026 and the Eckernförde and Mülheim an der Ruhr outlets set to close on 14 November 2026.
  • Tedox says the Mülheim exit followed the end of the lease after talks to renew on acceptable terms failed, a company spokesman told regional media.
  • Affected stores are running company-listed clearance sales, with Tedox advertising roughly 30 percent discounts on remaining stock on its website.
  • Several other Tedox locations already closed earlier in 2026, including Hof and Beckum (23 May), Erding (22 August), Gardelegen (2 October) and Lugau (18 October).
  • Tedox reports about 120–125 stores and roughly 3,000 employees nationwide and plans a new opening in Borken-Gemen around February–March 2027, a sign the company is reshaping its network rather than announcing a full regional withdrawal.
