'Ted' Prequel Series to Premiere on Peacock in January

Seth MacFarlane's Raunchy Teddy Bear Returns for High School Antics in the 1990s

Seth MacFarlane's 'Ted' franchise is getting a prequel series on Peacock, focusing on the high school years of John Bennett (Max Burkholder) and his living teddy bear, Ted.
The series is set in the 1990s, after Ted's moment of fame has passed, and he's living back with John's family in Framingham, Massachusetts.
The trailer for the series shows Ted helping John navigate the trials of adolescence, including drugs, sex, and relationships.
MacFarlane, who directed, produced, wrote, and starred in both 'Ted' movies, is also acting as showrunner for the series, alongside executive producers, writers, and co-showrunners Paul Corrigan and Brad Walsh.
All seven episodes of the 'Ted' prequel series will debut on Peacock on January 11, 2024.
