Techland Celebrates 10 Years of Dying Light with Updates, Events, and New Projects

The studio announces a 2025 roadmap, free updates, and plans for future expansions, including the standalone game Dying Light: The Beast.

Techland is marking the 10th anniversary of Dying Light with a month-long event featuring free updates and in-game activities across both Dying Light and Dying Light 2.
Dying Light: The Beast, a standalone game featuring the return of protagonist Kyle Crane, is scheduled for release in Summer 2025.
The original Dying Light will receive a patch with improved visuals, a remastered soundtrack, and fan-favorite events, while Dying Light 2 will see new weapons, co-op updates, and permanent Tower Raid mode.
Techland revealed that the franchise has reached 45 million players and announced plans for multiple unannounced projects, including board games, merchandise, and a webcomic series.
Both Dying Light games are currently available at significant discounts, with Dying Light 2 offered at its lowest price ever.
