TechCrunch Names First Judges for Startup Battlefield 200 Ahead of August 27 Reveal

Five leading VC investors will help shape the Top 20 finalists before TechCrunch reveals the full 200-startup cohort on August 27.

Overview

  • TechCrunch will publish its Startup Battlefield 200 list on Wednesday, August 27 at 9:00 a.m. PT.
  • The first five judges for the Top 20 pitch stage are Philip Clark (Thrive Capital), Madison Faulkner (NEA), Leslie Feinzaig (Graham & Walker VC), Ilya Kirnos (SignalFire) and Doug Pepper (ICONIQ).
  • Disrupt 2025, presented by Google Cloud, is set to take place October 27–29 in San Francisco.
  • From thousands of global applications, the competition will narrow to 20 startups that pitch live for a $100,000 equity-free prize and the Disrupt Cup.
  • Over its 20-year history, Startup Battlefield has launched alumni such as Dropbox, Cloudflare, Fitbit and Discord.
