The event showcased 142 rescue dogs from 80 shelters across 40 states and two countries, the largest group in the event’s history, including 11 special needs dogs.
The Puppy Bowl promotes pet adoption, with many participating dogs already finding forever homes and increased attention for the shelters involved.
The three-hour broadcast, aired on multiple networks, featured playful highlights, a halftime kitten show, and the Underdog Award, which went to Mercury, a laid-back Great Pyrenees mix.
