TCU Guard Frankie Collins Out for Season After Foot Injury

The Horned Frogs' leading scorer and playmaker will undergo surgery and miss the remainder of his senior year.

Frankie Collins, TCU's senior point guard and leading scorer, suffered a broken foot during a game against Vanderbilt on December 8.
Collins, who averages 11.2 points, 4.4 assists, and 1.9 steals per game, will have surgery on Tuesday in Dallas.
The injury leaves TCU without its top playmaker and perimeter defender as Big 12 play approaches.
Vasean Allette and Noah Reynolds are expected to take on increased roles in Collins' absence, with TCU also considering adjustments to the redshirt status of younger guards.
TCU, now 5-4, will host South Alabama in their next game on Monday, December 16.
