TCL Brings Nxtpaper Display Technology to U.S. with New Smartphone and Tablet

At CES 2025, TCL announced the TCL 60 XE Nxtpaper 5G and Nxtpaper 11 Plus, emphasizing eye comfort and innovative display features.

  • The TCL 60 XE Nxtpaper 5G is the first smartphone with Nxtpaper display technology to launch in the U.S., offering reduced blue light and glare for enhanced eye comfort.
  • The phone features a 6.8-inch FHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 8GB of RAM (expandable via virtual RAM), 256GB of internal storage, and a triple-lens camera system with a 50MP primary sensor.
  • It includes a unique Max Ink Mode, mimicking an e-ink display for distraction-free reading, and an Eye Care Assistant that suggests breaks and adjusts screen settings for optimal viewing.
  • TCL also introduced the Nxtpaper 11 Plus tablet, the first device to feature its new Nxtpaper 4.0 display, which enhances color accuracy and sharpness while prioritizing user eye comfort.
  • The Nxtpaper 11 Plus includes an 11.5-inch 2.2K display with a 120Hz refresh rate, anti-reflective coating, and AI-driven eye comfort modes, designed for versatile creative and entertainment use.
