Taylor Swift Sets Theatrical 'Official Release Party of a Showgirl' for Oct. 3–5

The AMC-led event extends her direct-to-cinema playbook with a fan-first, fixed-price rollout.

  • Tickets went on sale at 12:12 p.m. ET on Sept. 19 for $12 before fees via AMC and releasepartyofashowgirl.com, with heavy traffic and virtual queues reported.
  • The 89-minute program premieres the music video for The Fate of Ophelia and includes behind-the-scenes footage, lyric videos and Swift’s personal reflections.
  • Screenings will run across all 540 AMC locations and thousands of partner theaters such as Cinemark and Regal, with global availability in more than 100 countries.
  • First showtimes begin simultaneously at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT on Oct. 3, with some international territories following on later October weekends to be announced around Oct. 3.
  • AMC encourages singing and dancing during the event but prohibits standing on seats or blocking aisles, and showings will start promptly with no trailers.
