• Brian Jason Wagner, 45, has visited Swift’s Los Angeles home five times since July 2024, claiming she is mother to his child and that they share a romantic relationship, all of which she declares untrue.
• Swift’s security team uncovered that Wagner, a former inmate, sent her lengthy fabricated letters from prison, altered his driver’s license to her address and attempted to divert her mail.
• Court filings state that during a July 2024 visit Wagner carried a glass bottle that could have been used as a weapon and later sent hundreds of threatening emails to her staff.
• After consecutive visits on May 21 and 22, 2025, Swift said she feared for her safety and for her family, prompting her to seek court-ordered protection.
• The restraining order, effective June 9 through June 30, bans Wagner from harassing Swift or coming within 100 yards of her home, workplace or vehicle.
