• During an Oct. 8 Late Night with Seth Meyers appearance, Swift said Kelce approached Anna Eberstein believing she was Greta Gerwig and joked, “I love Barbie. I’m just Ken, too,” while pointing to Swift.
• The mix-up happened in the celebrity VIP tent at a London Wembley Eras Tour show in 2024 that also drew Tom Cruise, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Liam Hemsworth, Greta Gerwig, Hugh Grant and others.
• Swift realized the confusion after seeing online videos of Kelce dancing with Gerwig and recalled Kelce replying, “Oh, that’s not Greta,” as she noted he had been taking shots with friends in the tent.
• After Swift’s on-air story, previously shared footage from the tent resurfaced and spread widely as fans recirculated clips with the new context.
• NBC News reported representatives for Kelce and Grant did not immediately respond to requests for comment, and a representative for Gerwig also did not respond.
