Overview

  • Swift has ignored all of Blake Lively’s texts, calls and emails since being briefly subpoenaed as a witness in the ongoing legal dispute.
  • Lively sued Justin Baldoni in December 2024 alleging sexual harassment and a toxic work environment; Baldoni countersued Lively and Ryan Reynolds for $400 million claiming defamation.
  • Baldoni’s countersuit cited alleged private texts in which Lively called Swift one of her “dragons” and referred to herself as “Khaleesi,” fueling Swift’s sense of betrayal.
  • The subpoena of Swift was withdrawn in late May after her representatives denied any involvement in the film’s production or creative decisions.
  • With a March 2026 trial date set, Baldoni’s attorneys have moved to compel Lively to turn over mental health records after she sought to drop her emotional distress claims.
