Taylor Swift announces '1989 (Taylor's Version)' during final U.S. show of record-breaking Eras Tour

Taylor Swift announced the release date of her re-recorded album "1989 (Taylor's Version)" during her final U.S. show in Los Angeles.
The new album will be released on October 27, exactly nine years after the original's release, and will include five previously unreleased "vault" tracks.
The Eras Tour has broken records, with ticket sales projected to surpass $1 billion total and spurring an estimated $5 billion boost to the economy.
"1989" marked Swift's full transition into pop music and earned her multiple Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year.
Swift's re-recorded albums are part of her effort to regain control of her masters after her catalog was acquired without her consent.
