Tavriya Train Delays Narrow to Five Services Leaving Crimea

The carrier now reports delays only on departures from Crimea.

  • As of 13:00 Moscow time on January 8, Grand Service Express reported five Tavriya trains departing Crimea were running late, with waits of up to six hours.
  • Affected services include No. 328S Simferopol–Kislovodsk at about five hours, No. 078S Simferopol–St. Petersburg at about five and a half hours, and No. 092S SevastopolMoscow at about six hours.
  • Additional delays were cited for No. 098S Simferopol–Moscow at about three hours and No. 076S SimferopolOmsk at about two and a half hours.
  • An earlier delay on No. 092M Moscow–Sevastopol, departing January 6, was cleared after the train returned to schedule.
  • The carrier said passengers delayed more than four hours are being supplied with food and water, and it has not specified a cause for the disruptions.
