Overview

• NDR confirms Denis Moschitto joins permanently as cyber-criminalist Mario Schmitt alongside Wotan Wilke Möhring’s Thorsten Falke in the Bundespolizei strand.
• The new team’s first case will air as a 180-minute two-parter broadcast consecutively on Sunday, 21 December 2025 at 20:15 and 21:45 on Das Erste, marking a first for the series.
• Titled "Ein guter Tag" and "Schwarzer Schnee," the story is set near Emden in the German–Dutch border region and involves juvenile contract killers, drug trafficking and the so-called Mocro-Mafia.
• The production is a co-production between NDR and NPO, with direction and script by Hans Steinbichler and Alexander Adolph and producing by Katinka Seidt, Wiebke Andresen and Leontine Petit.
• The first part is slated to premiere earlier at Filmfest Hamburg on 27 September 2025.
