Tate McRae Achieves First No. 1 Album on Billboard 200 with 'So Close to What'

The Canadian pop star's third studio album also tops Canadian charts and sets streaming milestones.

'So Close to What' debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 177,000 equivalent album units, marking Tate McRae's first chart-topping album in the U.S.
The album also claimed the No. 1 spot on Canadian charts, with 137 million streams and 20,000 album sales in Canada during its first week.
Singles from the album include 'It’s OK I’m OK,' 'Sports Car,' and collaborations with Flo Milli and The Kid Laroi, McRae’s boyfriend.
McRae celebrated the release with a fan event at the Kia Forum and performed on 'Saturday Night Live,' showcasing songs like 'Sports Car' and 'Dear God.'
She is set to embark on her 82-date 'Miss Possessive' world tour, starting March 18 in Mexico City and concluding in Los Angeles in November.
