- Tata Boeing Aerospace Limited (TBAL) rolled out its 400th AH-64E Apache fuselage from its 52,000 sq. metre Hyderabad plant, a milestone reported on Monday, Sept. 7, 2026.
- The TBAL facility has averaged about 48 fuselages a year since its first delivery on June 1, 2018, and supplies fuselages that are integrated into Apaches delivered to the U.S. Army and India’s forces.
- TBAL employs more than 750 engineers and technicians who use robotics, automation and aerospace manufacturing methods to produce fuselage aerostructures for global customers.
- Separately, Tata Advanced Systems signed a memorandum of understanding with the Javelin Joint Venture (Raytheon and Lockheed Martin) to explore co‑production and a dedicated final assembly site for the Javelin All Up Round in India.
- TASL’s wider strategy has moved it from component work for platforms like the C-130J and S-92 to final assembly roles such as Apache fuselages and planned local assembly of Airbus C295 aircraft, deepening India’s role in international defence supply chains.
