Overview
- Tata announced an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 11.49 lakh for the revived Sierra, targeting India’s midsize SUV segment.
- The lineup launches with three 1.5-litre engines: a new TGDi turbo-petrol, a naturally aspirated petrol and a Kryojet diesel, with 6-speed manual, 7-speed DCT or 6-speed automatic gearboxes depending on variant.
- The premium cabin features a TheatrePro triple-screen setup, a JBL 12-speaker system with soundbar and Dolby Atmos, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control and powered, ventilated front seats.
- Safety tech includes six airbags, ESC, an electronic parking brake, a 360-degree camera and a Level-2 ADAS suite offering functions such as adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assistance.
- The SUV rides on Tata’s new ARGOS architecture designed for multi-energy powertrains, with positioning above the Curvv to rival the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Maruti Grand Vitara, while AWD and a full EV are slated to follow.
