Overview
- Tata Motors unveiled the Harrier.ev on June 3 at a starting price of ₹21.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings open July 2 ahead of deliveries.
- Built on Gen2 EV architecture, its dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup delivers 504 Nm of torque. The SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds.
- Two battery options fuel a claimed ARAI-certified range up to 627 km plus a real-world estimate of 480–505 km. Fast charging takes the battery from 20% to 80% in 25 minutes using a 120 kW DC charger.
- Cabin features include a 14.53-inch Neo-QLED touchscreen; Level 2 ADAS suite; 540-degree camera system. The SUV also supports vehicle-to-load plus vehicle-to-vehicle power-sharing.
- Terrain credentials include six mode settings; a transparent underbody viewing feature; Ultra Glide suspension. These hardware features underscore Tata’s aim for a 50% EV market share.
