Bookings begin July 2 to expand Tata’s EV lineup with a premium dual-motor SUV offering industry-leading range plus advanced technology.

Tata Harrier EV comes as the next major electric car from the homegrown automaker that sells models like Tiago EV, Tigor EV, Punch EV, Nexon EV and Curvv EV.

Overview

  • Tata Motors unveiled the Harrier.ev on June 3 at a starting price of ₹21.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings open July 2 ahead of deliveries.
  • Built on Gen2 EV architecture, its dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup delivers 504 Nm of torque. The SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds.
  • Two battery options fuel a claimed ARAI-certified range up to 627 km plus a real-world estimate of 480–505 km. Fast charging takes the battery from 20% to 80% in 25 minutes using a 120 kW DC charger.
  • Cabin features include a 14.53-inch Neo-QLED touchscreen; Level 2 ADAS suite; 540-degree camera system. The SUV also supports vehicle-to-load plus vehicle-to-vehicle power-sharing.
  • Terrain credentials include six mode settings; a transparent underbody viewing feature; Ultra Glide suspension. These hardware features underscore Tata’s aim for a 50% EV market share.
