- Tata Motors confirmed its split into separate commercial- and passenger-vehicle companies will become legally effective on October 1 following NCLT-approved orders.

- P B Balaji will step down as Group CFO on November 17 to become CEO of Jaguar Land Rover, and Dhiman Gupta will assume the Tata Motors CFO role on the same date.
