Tata Launches Nexon EV 45 With Level-2 ADAS, Priced From Rs 17.29 Lakh

Overview

  • New Empowered +A 45 variant debuts with three choices: standard at Rs 17.29 lakh and Dark or Red Dark editions at Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
  • ADAS features include lane keep assist, lane departure warning, lane centering, forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, traffic sign recognition and high beam assist.
  • Driver-assist technology is exclusive to the 45 kWh battery model, which retains its 489 km ARAI claim, 143 bhp/215 Nm motor and DC fast charging from 20–80% in about 40 minutes.
  • The update adds rear window sunshade and ambient lighting, with carryover equipment such as a panoramic sunroof, a 12.3-inch Harman infotainment unit and a 9-speaker JBL audio system.
  • The Nexon.ev line holds a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating and offers a lifetime high-voltage battery warranty for first owners, with the ADAS trim costing roughly Rs 20,000–30,000 more than the previous top variant.
