Tata Capital Lists Near Issue Price After Rs 15,512 Crore IPO

  • Overall subscription was about 1.95–1.96 times, led by Qualified Institutional Buyers at 3.42 times, with NIIs at 1.98 times and retail at 1.10 times.
  • Anchor investors committed roughly Rs 4,642 crore before listing, with LIC the largest buyer at about 2.15 crore shares worth nearly Rs 700 crore.
  • Management said proceeds will bolster capital for onward lending and signaled loan book expansion, targeting a potential doubling in three years, while monitoring credit costs and legacy vehicle-finance NPAs.
