• India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Morocco’s Abdelatif Loudyi jointly inaugurated the Berrechid facility near Casablanca.
• The 20,000 sq m site is described as Morocco’s largest defence manufacturing plant and became operational three months ahead of schedule.
• Under a government contract, TASL will produce and deliver WhAP 8×8 vehicles to the Royal Moroccan Army, with production already underway.
