She criticized her team for not securing deals, commercials, and endorsements following her portrayal of the popular character, Cookie Lyon.
Henson was open to a spin-off series focused on her character, Cookie, but only if it was done correctly. When her team failed to deliver, she fired them.
Since 'Empire', Henson has appeared in 'Annie Live!', 'Muppets Haunted Mansion', and provided voice work for 'Minions: The Rise of Gru' and 'PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie'.
