- The Festival del Salame y el Cerdo will take place along Diagonal Arturo Illia at the Parque Independencia entrance in Tandil.
- The city aims to surpass San Andrés de Giles’ 469.18‑meter benchmark after Tandil’s 401.73‑meter effort last year.
- Producing the giant salami will require hundreds of kilos of fresh meat with more than 50 people working at each stage from stuffing to tasting.
- More than 10,000 portions are slated for public tastings across the festival grounds as well as in local restaurants and hotels.
- Parallel programming includes a tying and stuffing skills contest and the 7th Technical Days on Nov. 7 organized by the Tandil Porcine Cluster and UNICEN with municipal support.
