Tampa Bay Rays Sign Right-Handed Reliever Chris Devenski to One-Year Contract

Chris Devenski, a 33-year-old right-handed reliever, has been signed by the Tampa Bay Rays to a one-year contract with a club option for 2025.
The contract guarantees Devenski $1.1 million, with a $2 million team option and a $100,000 buyout for 2025.
Devenski split the 2023 season between the Los Angeles Angels and the Rays, going 6-4 with a 4.46 ERA over 38 games.
In his final month of the regular season with the Rays, Devenski went 3-2 with a 2.08 ERA over 8 2/3 innings in nine outings.
Devenski also threw two scoreless innings in the Rays’ 4-0 loss to the Texas Rangers in Game 1 of an AL Wild Card Series.
