• Slaton underwent an eight-hour skin removal procedure in January at UPMC under Dr. J. Peter Rubin that extracted more than 15 pounds of loose skin.
• The surgery, featured in the June 10 season finale of 1000-Lb Sisters, targeted excess skin from her chin, arms and lower stomach.
• She admitted to being “seriously freaking terrified” before the operation and described feeling shock and excitement when she first saw her reflection.
• Her siblings welcomed her home early by surprise after she recovered faster than expected and praised her for losing over 500 pounds since 2020.
