Overview
- About 9.90 lakh beneficiaries are covered under the chief minister's order for the 2024–25 fiscal year.
- Eligible C and D category employees and teachers will receive bonuses capped at Rs 3,000.
- Full-time and part-time staff on consolidated or fixed pay who worked at least 240 days in 2024–25 will get Rs 1,000.
- Pensioners, family pensioners, former village administrative officers and village assistants will receive a Rs 1,000 Pongal gift.
- The government said the payments are intended for the mid-January festival period, with funds already sanctioned.
