Tamil Nadu Records 7.35 Lakh Inclusions as Madhya Pradesh Logs 99,370 Net Requests in Voter Roll Revision

Overview

• Tamil Nadu has received 735,191 Form-6/Form-6A applications for inclusion and 9,505 Form-7 requests for deletion following the draft roll.
• The Tamil Nadu draft electoral roll showed 9,737,831 deletions, largely attributed to deaths, duplicates and voter relocations.
• Recognised parties filed 272,148 representations through Booth Level Agents in Tamil Nadu, including DMK 68,260, AIADMK 67,286, BJP 61,438 and Congress 30,592.
• The claims and objections window remains open until January 18, 2026, with only properly filed forms to be considered and final rolls expected around mid-February.
• In Madhya Pradesh, the SIR running from December 23 to January 22 has produced 99,370 net inclusion requests so far, against a draft roll of 53,131,983 electors.
