Tamil Nadu Records 7.35 Lakh Inclusions as Madhya Pradesh Logs 99,370 Net Requests in Voter Roll Revision
Officials say high participation is subject to verification before final rolls are issued in February.

- Tamil Nadu has received 735,191 Form-6/Form-6A applications for inclusion and 9,505 Form-7 requests for deletion following the draft roll.
- The Tamil Nadu draft electoral roll showed 9,737,831 deletions, largely attributed to deaths, duplicates and voter relocations.
- Recognised parties filed 272,148 representations through Booth Level Agents in Tamil Nadu, including DMK 68,260, AIADMK 67,286, BJP 61,438 and Congress 30,592.
- The claims and objections window remains open until January 18, 2026, with only properly filed forms to be considered and final rolls expected around mid-February.
- In Madhya Pradesh, the SIR running from December 23 to January 22 has produced 99,370 net inclusion requests so far, against a draft roll of 53,131,983 electors.
