- Applications for the Rs 50,000 payment are open on the Naan Mudhalvan portal from November 13 to 24 for candidates who cleared the 2025 UPSC Mains.
- Eligible applicants will have the funds credited directly to their bank accounts, according to the programme’s Special Project Director.
- Earlier in the 2025 cycle, 659 prelim-qualified candidates from Tamil Nadu received Rs 25,000 each to support Mains preparation.
- Of those beneficiaries, 155 advanced to the interview round, including 87 who trained at the All India Civil Services Coaching Centre.
- The pilot carries a Rs 10 crore allocation and complements a prelims training cohort of 1,000 students receiving Rs 7,500 per month for 10 months.
