Overview

• TN TRB Notification No. 02/2025 opens applications for 1,996 vacancies including 80 backlog seats across Post Graduate Assistant, Computer Instructor Grade I and Physical Director Grade I roles.
• Candidates can apply online at trb.tn.gov.in from July 10 to August 12, 2025, with corrections allowed August 13–16 ahead of the September 28 main examination.
• Post Graduate Assistants and Computer Instructors must hold a relevant postgraduate degree (minimum 50%) plus B.Ed., while Physical Directors require a B.P.Ed. (50%) or a two-year M.P.Ed.
• Age limits are capped at 53 years for general category applicants and 58 for SC/ST/BC/MBC/DNC/destitute widows as of July 1, 2025, with fees set at ₹600 for general and ₹300 for SC/ST/differently-abled candidates.
• Selection hinges on a qualifying Tamil Language Eligibility Test followed by an OMR-based Main Written Examination, with final appointments based solely on main exam performance.
