Overview
- An August 18 state order grants administrative sanction for CMRL to begin early tasks on the corridor routed via the Outer Ring Road.
- The state will extend ₹2,442 crore as subordinate debt for the preparatory phase, with a significant share earmarked for land acquisition and structure costs.
- An initial ₹188 crore will fund topographic surveys, geotechnical investigations, utility shifting, traffic management, and tree felling and replantation.
