Overview

  • Although “Psycho Killer” has been a signature track since 1977, it never had an official video until its June 5 premiere.
  • Directed by Mike Mills and starring Saoirse Ronan, the clip follows an office worker’s mounting distress through dance, dialogue and sudden emotional shifts.
  • The band said the visuals “make the song better” by intentionally avoiding literal, bloody or violent imagery and embracing a subtler, subversive tone.
  • The super deluxe edition of their 1978 album More Songs About Buildings and Food is slated for July 25, 2025.
  • After disbanding in 1991, Talking Heads briefly reunited in 2023 for Stop Making Sense reissues while turning down an $80 million Live Nation tour offer.
