Overview
- Bandai Namco officially revealed the remaster with developer Dokidoki Grooveworks, setting a worldwide release for October 31, 2025.
- Technical targets include 4K at 60 fps on PS5 and Xbox Series X (1440p on Series S), up to 120 fps on PC with support for up to 4K, and 1080p docked/720p handheld at 30 fps on Switch.
- Quality-of-life additions span auto-save, an enemy encounter toggle, destination markers, skippable scenes and skits, a dash toggle, and early access to the Grade Shop with other interface tweaks.
- The package includes the original release’s DLC such as costumes and items, with a Digital Deluxe Edition adding a digital artbook, soundtrack, a Battle BGM Pack, and a Super Growth Support Herb Set.
- The sequel Tales of Xillia 2 is not included, and the Switch version has further limits such as 30 normal save slots versus up to 99 on other platforms.
