Overview
- Videos, screenshots and map images attributed to a Telegram account called “CyberLeek” have circulated online and are claimed to show GTA 6 gameplay from an unfinished development build.
- Take-Two has filed requests in U.S. federal court for DMCA subpoenas to Discord, Microsoft, X and Google to identify the sources and force takedowns.
- The Discord request asks for data on every account active in three named servers since early June, a scope that could include many users with no connection to the leak.
- Two judges signed orders related to the subpoena applications but the subpoenas have not yet been issued and no user data has been handed over so far.
- The alleged leaker posted a manifesto demanding an end to digital preorders and threatened further releases while Rockstar prepares an official Extended Look gameplay presentation that may clarify the material’s authenticity.
