Overview

• The Taj counted 6.26 million domestic visitors and 0.645 million foreign tourists, roughly 12% of entries at 145 ticketed ASI monuments.
• Across ASI’s protected sites, total footfall reached 5.66 crore in 2024–25, including 24.15 lakh from abroad, with other ticketed monuments drawing 2.93 crore.
• Konark’s Sun Temple logged 3.57 million domestic visitors and Delhi’s Qutub Minar 3.20 million, while foreign travellers next favored Agra Fort and Qutub Minar at 0.22 million each.
• Foreign tourist arrivals to India climbed to 9.95 million in 2024, up 4.52% year on year, as NRI arrivals rose to 10.62 million and total international tourist arrivals reached 20.57 million.
